Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Pharmacy purchasing/Stores support role responsible for processing purchase requisitions and orders, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring efficient day-to-day store operations. The position demands adherence to safety and company policies, with a focus on prompt service to internal and external customers.

The incumbent should have a Diploma in Pharmacy, be computer literate, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders daily.
• Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock and act on it.
• Follow up with suppliers on backorders and stockouts.
• Maintain security and cleanliness of office and store.
• Ensure accurate stock records and prevent theft or spillages.
• Participate in new services or programs introduced by management.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible in process of purchasing process (purchase requisition and purchase order). Standby as a checker during lack of manpower and busy day. Officially involved in the day-to-day running of the store (covering all aspects of works).

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. To always adhere to the Company’s policy and procedures.
2. To ensure all safety precautions are taken by yourself and to others while handling job at work such as safety attire, ergonomic aspects, safety instruction, etc and cooperatively with the management of the company.
3. To ensure services are provided promptly to internal/external customers in an efficient, ethical, and professional manners.
4. To ensure purchase requisition and purchase order run in daily basis
5. To monitor the slow moving and obsolete stock to act on it.
6. To follow up with supplier on backorder very closely and proceed with outstanding report of out-of-stock items.
7. To ensure the security as well as the cleanliness of the office and store.
8. To be truthful towards the stock to avoid theft and spillage.
9. To actively participate in any new services/programs introduced by management/company.
10. To full fill to any job‑related assignment required by the person in charge or the management.
11. Build and maintain positive working relationship with co‑workers, supervisor, management, and other related stakeholders.
12. To always adhere to the Company’s policy and procedures.
13. To adhere to the terms and conditions stipulated in the letter of employment, especially with regards.
14. To carry out other functions as instructed by management.
15. To participate actively in any other new service that is introduced by the organization.
16. Comply with Company Policies, Health, and Safety Policies.
17. Ensure conformance to all policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2015, GDPMD & ISO13485:2015.
