  • Atleast 1 year of relevant work or internship experience in Hospital/Retail Pharmacy.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacy Technician in Hospital/Retail Pharmacy.
  • Experience in aseptic technique.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, process driven environment.

Job description

  • To carry out duties as an employee as stipulatedin Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations1994: -
  • To take reasonable care at work for thesafety of yourself and other persons;
  • To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty;
  • To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer;
  • Tocomply withany instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
  • Responsible and Accountable to carry out duties as in the occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994.
  • Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced by the department.
  • Ensure all policiesand procedures of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, OHSAS18001and/or Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and recordsmaintained,if and whenthese programs are implemented.
  • Conformance to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and / or Hospital accreditation requirements.
  • Prompt and effective action in taking corrective measures in cases of ISO 14001, OHSAS18001and/or Hospital Accreditation non-conformance.
QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM

  • Diploma in PharmacyPharmacy

MINIMUMPREFERRED

  • Atleast1year of relevant workor internshipexperienceinHospital/Retail Pharmacy.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a PharmacyTechnicianinHospital/Retail Pharmacy.
  • Experience in a relevant specialist area of pharmacy practice includingaseptic technique.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, process driven environment.
