SEGi University & Colleges invites applications for a Registered Pharmacist to join our academic team in Malaysia. The role emphasizes teaching undergraduate courses, supervising research projects, and delivering engaging learning experiences through the learning management system.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Pharmacy with a Basic Degree in Pharmacy, have at least 3 years of related experience, and are registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Pharmacy with emphasis in Clinical Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Technology/ Biotechnology
• Basic Degree in Pharmacy
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience teaching at university level is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare undergraduate lesson plans, schemes of work, tutorials, assignments and class discussions.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in research activities and grant-related projects.
• Utilise the learning management system to maximise student learning.
• Prepare tests and examination questions with marking schemes in a timely manner.
• Prepare and update portfolios for each course taught.
• Undertake and contribute to research individually or collaboratively.
• Engage in knowledge generation, exchange and transfer activities.
• Identify sources of funding and contribute to securing funds for own research or scholarly projects.
• Be responsible for quality assurance, audit and external assessment activities within own areas of responsibility.
• Participate in programme accreditation processes.
• Ensure operational processes such as timetabling, assessment and examinations are effectively managed.
