Job summary

Puteri Nursing College is seeking a Pharmacy Educator to join the academic team as a lecturer. The role includes teaching in the pharmacy programs, planning student learning, and coordinating practical experiences.

The successful candidate will be registered to practice as a pharmacist, hold a Bachelor in Pharmacy with teaching qualification, and be willing to work after hours if required.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Educator with at least 5 years post-registration experience and diversity in clinical experience and teaching.
• Valid license to practice as a Pharmacy.
• Holds Bachelor in Pharmacy and teaching qualification.
• Evidence of current and ongoing education.
• Willingness to work after office hours/weekends/public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Teach all relevant subjects in the programmes assigned in accordance with curriculum and teacher's guide.
• Plan and coordinate students' learning using Master Planner.
• Coordinate study visits and practical experiences for learning needs.
• Supervise and conduct clinical assessments of students.
• Provide support to effective student learning through mentoring and tutorials.
• Establish close working relationships with unit staff and other department staff for a conducive teaching environment.
