Job summary

TP Pharmacy Sdn. Bhd. is recruiting for a Pharmacy Retail Associate at Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor. You will drive daily sales, promote healthcare products, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and teamwork. Mandarin proficiency is preferred to engage with the local Mandarin-speaking community. Diploma in pharmacy is an advantage.

• Collaborate with the retail team to meet monthly sales targets.
• Promote healthcare and beauty products to customers.

2. Pharmacy Operations

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring smooth workflows.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy-related laws, regulations, and company SOPs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.

3. Inventory & Supply Chain Management

• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal availability of medicines and health products.
• Liaise with buyers for replenishment and manage inventory costs.
• Implement strategies to minimize wastage and expired stock.
• Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to pharmacy assistants.
• Train, supervise, and ensure adequate staffing levels for daily operations.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support staff development.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive working environment.

5. Financial & Business Support

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager in monitoring sales and expenses.
• Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving and improved operational efficiency.

6. Marketing & Community Engagement

• Support in planning and executing marketing strategies to promote the branch.
• Participating in community health-related events, workshops, or campaigns.

7. Any Other Relevant Tasks

• Any other relevant tasks given by the management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma in pharmacy certification is an advantage.
• Experience in a sales position will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medications and pharmacy operations is a plus.
• Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and a good team player.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred to communicate effectively with customers in a predominantly Mandarin-speaking community.
• Based in TP Pharmacy's retail outlet at Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor.
