Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmacy, clinic, healthcare or customer service environment is an advantage.
• Candidates with Pharmacy Assistant or healthcare experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Be careful and organized, especially with medications, billing and patient information.

Responsibilities

• Support medication dispensing by preparing, labelling and organising medications according to prescriptions, while providing basic guidance to patients on medication usage.
• Manage pharmacy inventory by monitoring stock levels, arranging replenishment and checking medication expiry dates to ensure proper stock control.
• Handle billing and payments including preparing invoices, processing patient payments, daily account closing and supporting insurance claims.
• Deliver excellent patient service by attending to walk-in, phone, online and email enquiries and ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.
• Provide clinic and clinical support by assisting with basic patient history, chaperoning Consultants and supporting patient flow to minimise waiting time.

Key Responsibilities

Support medication dispensing by preparing, labelling and organising medications according to prescriptions, while providing basic guidance to patients on medication usage.
