Job summary

Bloomsbury Pharmacy Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan seeks a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. This full-time role focuses on dispensing medications safely, delivering clinical advice, and upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice for our community.

You will manage inventory, collaborate with physicians, counsel patients on usage and interactions, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with pharmaceutical advances.

Qualifications

• Recognised pharmacy degree and regulatory registration
• Experience in retail or clinical pharmacy
• Patient-centred care and accuracy in all pharmaceutical operations

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely per regulations
• Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice
• Manage inventory, stock rotation and ordering

About the role

Bloomsbury Pharmacy Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and services to our patients. As a Pharmacist, you will be at the heart of our pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications whilst providing expert clinical advice to both patients and healthcare professionals. This position is instrumental in upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice and contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of our community.

What you'll be doing

Dispensing medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and best practices

Conducting comprehensive medication reviews and providing clinical advice to patients regarding their prescribed and over-the-counter medications

Managing inventory, stock rotation and ordering of pharmaceutical products to maintain optimal supply levels

Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related issues and optimise patient outcomes

Counselling patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects and possible drug interactions

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with data protection and pharmaceutical regulations

Contributing to health promotion initiatives and providing patient education on disease management and preventative health measures

Ensuring the pharmacy operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards

Supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures within the pharmacy

Participating in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

A recognised pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Current registration with the relevant pharmacy regulatory body in Malaysia

Proven experience working as a pharmacist in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, contraindications and therapeutic uses

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all pharmaceutical operations

Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and information technology

A patient-centred approach and genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Willingness to undertake continuing professional development and remain current with pharmaceutical advances
