Job summary

Xepa-Soul Pattinson (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a production supervisor to organize resources, lead a production team, and ensure quality across manufacturing processes. The role requires facilitating adherence to instructions, coordinating with supply chain, and maintaining 5S practices on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have an engineering or science background with 3+ years in production or quality control in manufacturing, plus strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Diploma in Engineering with 5+ years of supervisory/exec experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to interface with multiple departments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Organize resources and activities to produce pharmaceutical products efficiently.
• Lead the production team to raise quality, productivity, and reduce cycle times.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions and quality specs.
• Coordinate with supply chain to plan manpower, cycle time and equipment.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping and readiness of materials, equipment, and documentation.
• Plan and monitor production within budget and supervise shop floor staff.
• Review batch manufacturing records and report to department manager.
• Provide daily support and ensure staff training and capability.
• Drive continuous process improvement and right-first-time production.
