Job summary

AstraZeneca Malaysia is seeking a Medical Representative to drive sales in the Central region. You will implement sales strategies, build relationships with hospitals and clinics, and ensure timely product enlistment according to the plan.

The role requires a science background and interest in pharma, with a focus on territory planning, customer segmentation, reporting, and active participation in training and meetings.

Qualifications

• Education background in science; degree or masters preferred.
• Experience or keen interest in pharmaceutical sales and healthcare industries.
• Based in Central region.

Responsibilities

• Effectively implement sales strategy and plan of action in line with company policies.
• Monitor territory sales performance and initiate appropriate actions.
• Facilitate enlistment of new and key products in hospitals and clinics by planned date.
• Develop territory plan and allocate resources for maximum sales impact.
• Participate in promotional activity programmes to raise product awareness.
• Update territory customer segmentation, databases and call records.
• Deliver promotional messages according to approved plan.
• Build trust with customers while complying with the Code of Conduct.
• Check stock levels and advise on customer inventories.
• Attend sales meetings and product training.
• Submit monthly reports commenting on deviations from the business plan.
• Ensure timely delivery of ETMS Veeva reports.
• Monitor sales transactions to identify irregular patterns.
