Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a driven Pharmaceutical Sales professional based in Kuching to influence prescribing behaviour, grow territory sales, and build strong customer relationships. You will implement sales strategies, promote key products, and monitor performance to maximize market share in designated hospitals and clinics.

Essentially, applicants should have a science background and familiarity with pharmaceutical sales, with a passion for healthcare and patient access to medicines.

Qualifications

• Science degree or higher required.
• Experience or keen interest in pharmaceutical sales and healthcare industries.
• Based in Kuching or willing to be located there.

Responsibilities

• Positively influence customers' prescribing behavior to achieve sales targets.
• Develop territory and build strong customer relationships to maximise sales and market share.
• Implement sales strategy and POA in line with company policies and plans.
• Monitor territory sales performance and initiate corrective actions.
• Promote newly launched and key products in hospitals and clinics by scheduled dates.
• Conduct market/competitor analysis to identify opportunities and plan resources.
• Deliver promotional messages per approved plan and maintain accurate call records.
• Submit monthly reports on deviations from the business plan and actions taken.
• Attend sales meetings and participate in product and sales training.
