Job summary

Kim Teck Cheong Group Of Companies is seeking a Personal Driver to support the Executive Director in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full‑time chauffeur role provides safe, reliable transport for daily commitments and meetings.

You will maintain the ED's vehicle, coordinate schedules, and deliver discreet, professional service. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of driving experience, a clean safety record, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Personal Driver to the Executive Director (ED) at the Kim Teck Cheong Group of Companies'. This full-time position is an integral part of our executive team, providing personalised chauffeur services to support the ED's daily activities and commitments.

What you'll be doing

• Safely driving the ED to and from the residence, as well as to external meetings, events and other engagements
• Coordinating the ED's transportation schedule and making adjustments as needed
• Ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained, clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Providing exceptional customer service and a discreet, professional demeanour at all times
• Assisting the ED with various tasks and errands as required
• Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably chauffeur or personal driver experience
• Excellent driving skills and impeccable safety record
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extended hours as needed
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Knowledge of the local Kota Kinabalu area and surrounding regions
• Valid Malaysian driver's license (at least Class D)
