Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Performance Tester to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for web, mobile, API, and enterprise apps.

You will identify bottlenecks with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, implement test plans, and help integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. 3–7 years' hands-on testing, JMeter or LoadRunner expertise, and strong scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on with JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP, HTTP(S), web apps and microservices.
• Scripting in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Analyze response time, throughput, error rates, and system resource utilization.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester to design, develop, execute, and analyze performance tests for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications. The candidate should be skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks and working with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and database teams to improve application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Create performance test plans, test scenarios, workload models, and test data.
• Analyze response time, throughput, error rates, and system resource utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks in applications, APIs, databases, servers, and infrastructure.
• Monitor application and server performance during test execution.
• Validate application performance against SLAs and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare performance test reports and provide optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Support integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 3–7 years of experience in Performance Testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Apache JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Experience in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, web applications, and microservices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
