Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Performance Tester to design, develop, execute, and analyze performance tests for web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications. You will identify bottlenecks and work with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and database teams to improve application performance.

The role requires hands-on testing with JMeter and/or LoadRunner, plus collaboration with CI/CD pipelines and testing across REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, and microservices.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Performance Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Experience in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, web applications, and microservices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter and/or LoadRunner.
• Create performance test plans, test scenarios, workload models, and test data.
• Analyze response time, throughput, error rates, and system resource utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks in applications, APIs, databases, servers, and infrastructure.
• Monitor application and server performance during test execution.
• Validate application performance against SLAs and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare performance test reports and provide optimization recommendations.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams.
• Support integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
