Job summary

Moët Hennessy Kuala Lumpur is seeking a People Services Senior Payroll Specialist to drive payroll operations across APAC, delivering accurate payroll, taxes, and compliance. You will ensure scalable processes and automation, reporting to the People Services Senior Payroll Manager.

You will manage end-to-end payroll for 14 APAC countries, handle leave, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement while driving continuous improvement and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of APAC payroll operations experience.
• Strong payroll knowledge and labour/tax regulation expertise across Singapore, Malaysia and India.
• Experience with payroll automation and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors, Concur and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own scalable payroll operations for 14 APAC countries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle end-to-end payroll, tax filings, and journals with Finance.
• Administer Leave system configuration and policy changes.
• Manage vendors and continuously improve service quality.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to ensure alignment.
• Drive automation and lean improvements while ensuring compliance.
• Address audits and statutory inquiries and participate in projects.

Job Responsibilities

How you will contribute…

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Operations: You will be the subject matter expert and independently drive scalable, precise and timely payroll operations for 14 APAC countries in key areas below while ensuring business continuity, service levels are met, process documentation is up-to-date, and successfully de-escalate problems:
• End-to-End Payroll & Tax Execution: You will be responsible for full spectrum payroll including payroll processing, payment of salaries, pension, tax filing, working with finance to secure funding for payouts, and timely submission of payroll journal entries to Finance, including related accruals and provisioning.
• Leave System Administration: You will update leave configuration with any policy changes.
• Vendor Management: You will review and improve vendors’ quality of service.
• Stakeholder Management: You will collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners, ensuring alignment and satisfaction across all touchpoints.
• Continuous Improvement: Innovate and refine payroll processes within the framework of company’s guidelines to achieve greater efficiency.
• Compliance: You will address any queries from audits or statutory bodies, maintaining compliance standards.
• Projects: You will participate in projects to optimize and evolve service delivery through automation, lean concepts, up-skill and increase knowledge across team.
