Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku Group, the largest SME digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, seeks a People Development Intern to shape how employees learn, grow, and engage across the company.

You will drive surveys, support engagement programs, and develop learning materials while coordinating end-to-end learning sessions. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about people analytics, data, and technology.

Qualifications

• Duration: 3-6 months, internship position.
• Strong proficiency in Excel pivot tables and Google Workspace.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Solid analytical ability and data sense; able to turn data into insights.
• Clear and structured communication; able to frame problems clearly.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in HR, Data Science, Business Admin, Economics, Management, Statistics, or related fields.
• Preferred: prior internship or project experience in people development or people analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-wide surveys and collect feedback.
• Support engagement, 360, and training feedback lifecycle from setup to insights.
• Build and automate feedback reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
• Run regional people development initiatives and coordinate learning sessions end-to-end.
• Create engaging communication materials to drive training participation.
• Contribute to e-learning development with short modules and knowledge checks.
• Develop and maintain systems to measure training impact and outcomes.

As a People Development Intern, you'll play a key role in shaping how employees learn, grow, and engage across the company. This role is perfect for someone passionate about people development, data, and technology.

What will you do:

• Drive Company-wide Surveys
• Support the full lifecycle of engagement, 360, and training feedback surveys — from setup and response tracking to insight analysis
• Build and automate feedback reports, identifying trends and translating data into actionable recommendations for leaders and people development initiatives
• Run Regional People Development Initiatives
• Develop engaging communication materials — posters, internal campaigns, and announcements that drive participation in training programs
• Coordinate learning sessions end-to-end: scheduling, participant communication, and logistics management

Contribute to e-learning development by creating short modules, knowledge checks, and feedback systems that make learning interactive and impactful.

Research & Innovate in Learning:

• Conduct research on emerging learning topics and digital training technologies aligned with business needs
• Evaluate external platforms, training partners, and government grants to scale learning opportunities efficiently
• Develop and maintain behavioral change tracking systems to measure training impact and link learning outcomes to real workplace performance
• Perform data cleaning and analysis using Excel or Google Sheets to generate reports and insights supporting decision-making and audit requirements.

Requirements

What are we looking for:

• Duration: 3-6 months
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
• Solid analytical ability and data sense — able to interpret data and turn it into actionable insights
• Clear and structured communication skills; ability to frame problems and propose logical solutions
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program (Master's preferred) in Human Resources, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Statistics, or related fields
• Preferred: Prior internship or project experience in people development or people analytics

This internship comes with a monthly allowance of RM1,200.
