Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to drive day-to-day manufacturing, ensure schedules are met, and lead assembly teams to deliver quality products on time. You will coordinate resources, monitor productivity and safety, and implement lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• 3-5 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is mandatory.
• Experience with production planning, assembly operations, and quality control.
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay; Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly production plans established by the Production Manager.
• Lead and supervise production operators and assembly personnel.
• Coordinate manpower and resources to meet production targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all customer orders.
• Monitor production progress and adjust priorities where needed.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and workforce performance against targets.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards on the production floor.
• Enforce adequate production process procedures
• Implement improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Optimize assembly methods and workflow arrangements.
• Escalate material shortages, equipment issues, quality concerns, and delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting documentation.
