Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a technically strong DFM Engineer to execute DFM analysis for PCB & PCBA, identifying non-conforming items and communicating results to internal teams and customers.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in DFM analysis or PCB/PCBA manufacturing, with knowledge of SMT processes and failure analysis techniques such as EDX, SEM, and FTIR. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams and support KPI achievement while based in Penang.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DFM analysis or PCB/PCBA process.
• Experience with reliability concepts and failure analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with SMT process development.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review product data packages for DFM readiness.
• Perform automated and manual DFM analysis following procedures.
• Generate DFM reports using Digital DFX tools.
• Communicate findings with internal teams and customers.
• Support KPI achievement within ME Department.
• Adhere to safety and security policies.
