Job summary

Jabil Circuit Penang is seeking a technically strong DFM Engineer to execute DFM analysis for PCB & PCBA and communicate results to internal teams and customers. Based in Penang, you will review data packages, perform analyses, and support ME KPIs in a collaborative cross-functional environment.

The role requires 3+ years in DFM or PCB/PCBA manufacturing, knowledge of EDX/SEM/FTIR, SMT development experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DFM analysis or PCB/PCBA process and manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of PCB/PCBA reliability concepts and failure analysis techniques such as EDX, SEM, and FTIR.
• Experience with SMT process development and evaluation.
• Familiarity with problem-solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical analytical tools.
• Knowledge of packaging technology, chip scale packaging, molding process, or System in Package construction is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review product data packages for DFM analysis.
• Perform automated and manual DFM analysis in compliance with site work instructions and global DFx procedures.
• Generate accurate and timely DFM reports using Jabil's Digital DFX KnowledgeBase collaboration tools.
• Communicate DFM findings and issues with internal teams and customers effectively.
• Participate in DFM team improvement projects and support the ME Department in achieving KPIs and goals.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and company security policies.
