Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced driver to deliver and collect vehicles to bodybuilders, branches, dealers, and outstation locations. The role includes chassis checks, inspections, and reporting defects during outstation deliveries.

Applicants should have 7–10 years of experience and a valid E-class driving license, with duties spanning vehicle delivery, tool transport, and maintenance tasks for new vehicles.

• Valid E-class driving license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicles to bodybuilders, branches, dealers, North/West Port (for export), and outstation locations.
• Collect chassis from TCMA and CBU vehicles from port; ensure chassis numbers match the assigned trucks.
• Deliver and collect vehicles from Serendah (for modification).
• Assist MRC Serendah and Batu Caves workshop in vehicle delivery and collection from customers.
• Immediately report any defects found during outstation delivery of new vehicles.
• Conduct inspection of company vans and assist with RIMV inspection for new vehicles.
• Collect tools from TCMA and deliver tools to branches.
• Perform visual inspections of interiors and exteriors; check electrical systems, water, engine oil, fluids, leaks; inspect tools and spare tire; ensure speedometer functions.
• Carry out general maintenance on new vehicles and wash vehicles before delivery to customers, bodybuilders, branches, or dealers.
• Dispose of rubbish, maintain premises cleanliness.

Job description

RIMV Inspection:

Conduct inspection of company vans.

Assist with RIMV inspection for new vehicles.

Collect tools from TCMA.

Deliver tools to branches.

Vehicle Checks:

Perform visual inspections (interior and exterior).

Check electrical systems, water, engine oil, fluid levels, and signs of leakage.

Inspect vehicle tools, spare tire, and ensure the speedometer functions correctly.

Carry out general maintenance on new vehicles.

Wash vehicles before delivery to customers, bodybuilders, branches, or dealers.

General Duties:

Dispose of rubbish appropriately.

Maintain cleanliness of the premises.

NOTE: DRIVERS MUST COMPLY WITH ALL ROAD TRANSPORT REGULATIONS AND DRIVE WITHIN THE LEGAL SPEED LIMITS AT ALL TIMES, WITH ANY OFFENCE INCURRED BEING THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DRIVER.Requirements:
