Job summary

GlobalFoundries Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is seeking an engineer to develop design components for Process Design Kits (PDKs) and to create, deploy, and maintain automation tools and techfiles readable by EDA tools.

The role involves reviewing process design rules and SPICE models to generate specification data, creating test cases, writing release notes, and communicating known limitations and solutions to customers. Collaboration across projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical (University) degree.
• Experience path: BS 2–4 years, MS 1–3 years with PhD 0–1 year.

Responsibilities

• Develop design components for Process Design Kits (PDKs).
• Develop, deploy, support, maintain PDK collection of techfiles and runtime code readable by EDA tools.
• Create/update release and application notes; document limitations and solutions; ensure safe, compliant work.
• Collaborate with other projects as needed; deliver high-quality PDk features.

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering
