Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Penang is seeking a design-focused engineer to develop, deploy, and sustain Process Design Kits (PDKs) for advanced fabrication processes. Qualifications

• Requires a technical university degree with relevant discipline.
• BS + 2–4 years experience or MS + 1–3 years with PhD + 0–1 year.
• Experience with PDk development and EDA tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) for fabrication processes.
• Create and maintain test cases for DRC, LVS, and PEX checks; QA deliveries to customers.
• Review process design rules and SPICE models to generate specification data.
• Document release notes, application notes, and known issues, ensuring clear customer guidance.
• Collaborate across projects; uphold safety and EH&S requirements.
