Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a PCB repair technician to troubleshoot, repair, and test PCBA assemblies in Kulai, Malaysia. You will follow SOPs, document repair details, and maintain tools while supporting production and quality teams.

Rotating shift is required; Mandarin-speaking ability is a plus. Candidates should be proficient with tests and electronics equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• Experience with repairing PCB/PCBA assemblies.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety requirements.
• Mandarin speaking is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot defective PCBA based on test results and failure symptoms.
• Perform component replacement, soldering, and rework.
• Use equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, and soldering/rework stations.
• Inspect PCBA for soldering and component defects.
• Identify root causes of PCB/PCBA failures.
• Perform functional testing after repair.
• Record repair details and failure information.
• Follow repair procedures, SOPs, ESD, and safety requirements.
• Support engineers in resolving repeated PCBA failures.
• Maintain repair tools and equipment.
• Support production and quality teams when required.
• Rotating shift.
