Job summary

Beyondsoft is seeking an engineer to provide hands-on support for PCBA/PBA production in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will troubleshoot assembly issues, lead RCCA investigations, and maintain test stands and fixtures to ensure quality and throughput.

The role requires 4+ years in electronics manufacturing, strong fault-dinding skills, and familiarity with Python-based test scripts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and overseas partners to resolve critical issues and document results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Min 4 years in PCBA/PBA manufacturing, electronics testing, hardware testing or manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on circuit troubleshooting, RCCA, and corrective actions.
• Familiar with test equipment, firmware/software, and automated test scripts, especially Python.
• Able to read electrical schematics and test results.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for PCBA/PBA production, troubleshooting assembly and manufacturing issues to maintain quality, yield, and throughput.
• Perform component-level and circuit-level troubleshooting and lead RCCA/root cause analysis for recurring test and production failures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production test stands, test fixtures, and measurement equipment, including calibration and software/hardware alignment.
• Perform software/firmware flashing and verification, and execute automated/semi-automated production test scripts according to SOPs.
• Generate and maintain PASS/FAIL test reports, issue logs, and engineering documentation for manufacturing traceability.
• Coordinate technical issues with contract manufacturers, internal teams, and overseas engineering teams, including escalation and resolution of critical issues.
