This individual will design high density power modules products using state of the art technology. A thorough knowledge of switching mode power supply architectures and magnetics layout requirement in a system in package & evaluation board is required. The candidate must be a team player with excellent verbal and written skills, an ability to work independently and methodically. The individual should be able to work on projects with the various support groups.**Job Responsibilities*** Develop and create detailed layout designs for Power Modules projects.* Optimize metal traces, power planes, vias, interposer stack-up designs for electrical, magnetic, thermal and mechanical robustness performance.* Collaborate with Design, Application, Product, Packaging and Assembly engineers to ensure new designs & modified layout meeting technical specifications and assembly design guidelines for manufacturability.* Perform Design Rules Check (DRC) and Layout vs Schematic (LVS) verification for all PCB & substrate designs.* Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce high quality package & board level layout design.* Able to develop a monitoring progress schedule.**Qualifications/Requirements:**BSEE with 10+ years of power products layout design* Strong fundamental knowledge in layout principles and standards, BGA/LGA System in Package construction, evaluation board reliability and failure mechanism.* Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso and CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Labview)* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet schedule.* Strong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented.* Strong communication skills* Team player.*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
