activpayroll in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Consultant to join our Operations team. You’ll manage your own client portfolio, processing end-to-end Malaysian payrolls and maintaining payroll records with accuracy.

You’ll handle a varied mix of weekly and monthly payrolls for diverse clients, serve as the primary contact for queries, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring data protection compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Malaysian payroll processing, ideally in a bureau or accountancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll legislation.
• Customer-focused with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks with a focus on accuracy and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own client portfolio, processing end-to-end Malaysian payrolls, importing payroll information into our payroll software and maintaining payroll records.
• Your portfolio will be varied with weekly and monthly payrolls for clients with small headcounts up to large corporate organisations.
• Be the focal point for clients, handling queries and providing excellent customer support.
• Look for improvements to processes and procedures to support team development.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and accurate manual checks and calculations.
