Job summary

Acre Works Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to support the Accounts team with payments, wages and petty cash transactions, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

You will liaise with departments to prioritise payments, maintain AP-to-Pay records, verify supporting documents, handle supplier inquiries and prepare payment vouchers for multiple payment methods.

Qualifications

• STPM, LCCI or Diploma in Accounting & Finance.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, payments, receipts and financial statements.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as AutoCount.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with various departments to identify urgent and priority payments.
• Maintain the AP-to-Pay list based on payment priorities and cash flow requirements.
• Coordinate with departments to verify that signed payment requisitions and supporting documents are complete and ready for payment.
• Attend to payment queries from suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments.
• Prepare payment vouchers and upload internet banking payments for subcontractors, suppliers and HQ.
• Process payments via cash, cheques, bank drafts and FPX.
• Maintain proper filing of payment records with relevant supporting documents.
• Process workers’ wages payment using auto debit.
• Process petty cash replenishment and verify supporting documents for petty cash claims.
• Perform other accounting and payment-related duties as assigned.
