Job summary

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Product Team Lead for Payments to steer the Cross Border, Telco, Merchant and B2B product pillars. You will define the vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy, owning the lifecycle from discovery through delivery with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive payments domain knowledge, and experience guiding offshore teams to deliver high-impact initiatives within timelines.

Qualifications

• Possess tertiary or professional qualification from a recognized institution in Business Administration, Science, and Information Technology or related Professional Certification (as stated).
• 7–10 years of product management experience including customer understanding, requirements, design and offering development.
• At least 2 years of payment channel integration experience.
• Solid understanding of payments industry including card networks, issuers and acquirers.
• Experience in B2B and merchant products (online/offline payments, payment gateway, merchant platform).
• Ability to coordinate with offshore teams, multi-task, and perform under pressure.
• Track record leading teams and business-critical projects of large scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product development team responsible for Cross Border, Telco, Merchant and B2B pillars, driving strategy and execution.
• Define product vision, roadmap and long-term strategy for the portfolio.
• Own products through the lifecycle: discovery, requirements, prioritisation and cross-functional delivery.
• Define and document requirements, features and functionality aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate industry trends, competitors, regulatory developments and technologies for innovation.
• Define business cases, ROI and success metrics with BI to measure performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define specs, milestones and risk management.
• Mentor and develop Product Managers to foster ownership and execution.
• Analyze payments, fintech and digital commerce industries to design innovative solutions.
