Job summary

KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital in Malaysia is seeking a Food Service Assistant to portion meals according to the diet sheets and to deliver them to wards. You will collect dirty crockeries and trays, wash utensils, and keep the kitchen and service area clean.

Minimum education is SPM; a certificate/diploma/degree in food service is preferred. No experience is required, but 1 year in F&B is a plus. Fluent in Malay and English; punctual and professional in conduct.

Responsibilities

• Portion meals according to the diet sheet and deliver to wards.
• Collect dirty crockery and trays; wash utensils; keep area clean.
• Do ward rounds to update diet sheets and menus, and answer diet changes.
• Assist with monthly meal summaries and special item requests.
• Participate in 5S and adhere to KPJ policies and safety practices.
