Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking passionate tutors to support primary school students with daily homework, subject revision, and progress tracking. You will guide students across core subjects and history, ensuring engagement and learning outcomes.

Ideal candidates are patient, communicative, and able to nurture a positive classroom atmosphere while reporting progress to the Principal and coordinating with parents as needed.

Qualifications

• Education requirement includes SPM/STPM/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree for fresh graduates or experienced candidates.
• Language proficiency requires trilingual skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu.
• Personal attributes include passion for education, patience, caring and good communication with primary school children.
• Experience in primary school tutoring or daycare is an added advantage; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Daily Homework & Academic Guidance: check student school bags and spelling books; ensure daily homework completion.
• Subject Teaching: teach and revise core subjects (Chinese, English, Malay, Math, Science) and History.
• Learning Progress Tracking: mark worksheets, provide remedial help, and prepare for assessments.
• Classroom Management: maintain order and create a positive learning environment.
• Internal Reporting: update Principal on student progress and concerns for parent coordination.

• Subject Teaching: Teach and conduct revision for primary school subjects, including the 5 core subjects (Chinese, English, Malay, Math, Science) and History (Sejarah).

• Learning Progress Tracking: Mark student worksheets/exercises, provide remedial help for weaker areas, and prepare students for school assessments.

• Classroom Management: Maintain classroom order and create a positive, conducive learning environment.

• Internal Reporting: Regularly update the Principal on student progress, daily behavior, and special concerns, allowing the Principal to coordinate with parents.
