Job summary

Pusat Tuisyen Teratai Gemilang (Sim Selayang) is seeking tutors to support primary school students with daily homework, core subject revision, and progress tracking. The role focuses on creating a positive learning environment and clear communication with parents and the principal.

Ideal candidates hold a minimum education qualification and are fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu; training will be provided for enthusiastic new hires. Flexible working hours available.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum SPM / STPM / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree; Fresh graduates welcome.
• Language Proficiency: Trilingual Mandarin, English, Bahasa Melayu.
• Personal Attributes: Passionate about education, patient, caring, responsible.
• Experience: Prior tutoring or daycare experience is an added advantage; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Daily Homework & Academic Guidance: Check students' school bags and spelling/dictation books; guide and ensure completion of daily homework and activity books.
• Subject Teaching: Teach and conduct revision for primary school subjects (Chinese, English, Malay, Math, Science) and History (Sejarah).
• Learning Progress Tracking: Mark worksheets, provide remedial help for weaker areas, and prepare students for assessments.
• Classroom Management: Maintain classroom order and create a positive, conducive learning environment.
• Internal Reporting: Update the Principal on student progress, daily behavior, and concerns for parent coordination.
