Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Port Klang. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, and ensure equipment runs at peak performance.

You will document activities, collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime, follow safety procedures, and use a range of tools. Basic computer skills for record-keeping are required, and flexibility to work varying hours is

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
