Job summary

Summit Paradise Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Barista with 1-2 years of experience. You will prepare and serve coffee, operate espresso machines and POS systems, and deliver excellent guest service in a fast-paced setting.

Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. A SPm or equivalent qualification, knowledge of safety procedures, and a passion for coffee are essential for joining our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and beverage orders according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment; perform basic cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Engage with customers, take orders, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Handle cash and card transactions via POS system with accuracy.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Keep work area clean and organized; stock shelves and tidy seating areas.
• Collaborate with team during peak hours to maintain flow.
• Understand Summit Paradise's brand and offerings to share with customers.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stocking shelves, cleaning tables, and ensuring the overall tidiness of the coffee bar and seating areas.
