Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting, finance or a related field, or relevant accounting experience at a similar level.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial processes.
• Reliable communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Recording financial transactions in accounting systems and ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented.
• Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies for resolution.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including payment processing and collection follow-ups.
• Preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Performing data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Supporting senior accounting staff with ad-hoc accounting duties and special projects as required.
