Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator (Packaging) to support daily packaging operations. You will prepare materials, operate packaging equipment, and ensure finished goods are packed accurately, safely, and to defined quality standards, while collaborating with the shift leader and teams to meet daily output targets.

The role requires a minimum SPM/Certificate in Manufacturing or related field, 1–2 years in packaging or production (fresh candidates considered), ability to read orders,

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate in Manufacturing, Production, or related field.
• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in packaging, assembly, or a manufacturing line environment.
• Ability to read production orders, packaging instructions, and product/work specifications.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, Monday to Saturday, and overtime when required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging materials according to order requirements.
• Perform visual inspection of finished goods prior to packaging to ensure there are no defects.
• Verify that all required information is correct before sealing/boxing.
• Operate packaging equipment and tools according to SOPs and safety requirements.
• Ensure equipment and materials are ready for daily operations; report faults or issues.
• Set up workstation and ensure all documents and labels are available.
• Monitor and replenish packaging supplies to prevent downtime.
• Maintain 5S standards and comply with safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Warehouse teams to meet targets.
