Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable Production Operator to join our straw manufacturing team. You will operate production machinery, support daily processes, and help maintain a safe, clean factory floor.

The role suits someone who stays calm and acts quickly when problems occur on the line, and who can cooperate effectively within a shift team. Key duties include responding to emergencies, handling material setups, monitoring quality, and recording daily output.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent; technical/vocational certificate an added advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production line environment preferred (fresh school‑leavers may apply).
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods in a factory setting.
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends/overtime when required.
• Basic mechanical know-how and ability to perform simple equipment checks.
• Safety-conscious and disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to emergencies, crises, or unexpected problems during the shift.
• Carry out the production or auxiliary processes related to production.
• Handle the setup of materials and supplies.
• Perform cleaning and basic repairs when needed.
• Monitor product quality during production and flag defects to the supervisor.
• Follow SOPs and factory safety guidelines.
• Record daily production output/data as required.
• Assist with loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
