Job summary

Hartalega in Sepang, Selangor, is seeking a packaging materials designer to create and revise artwork for OEM brands, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of packaging material design experience or fresh graduate.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
• Able to derive costs savings from purchases.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, and revise packaging material artwork for OEM brands, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate packaging material development with Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, Planning, and Purchasing.
• Liaise with Purchasers and Planners to ensure packaging materials are produced and delivered on time.
• Conduct packaging material fitting tests and validate board quality against specs.
• Coordinate fitting test requests with Packing, Sales teams, and customers.
• Propose suitable board material types based on supplier recommendations and tests.
• Investigate packaging material quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain and update packaging material codes, artwork status, and tracking in ERP.
• Follow up on tasks, train subordinates where applicable, and perform ad-hoc duties.
