Job summary

Swarovski in Malaysia seeks an OTC Accountant to join our global finance team. You will record and report revenue data, handle collections, process credit applications, and manage deductions, cashback, and chargebacks.

You will be the main contact for internal stakeholders and customers. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting, have 2+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills are an advantage.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Record and report revenue-related data in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform revenue accounting tasks, including managing collections and analyzing delinquent accounts.
• Process customer credit applications, review existing accounts, and approve new accounts.
• Manage deductions and adjustments (discounts, rebates, cashback, etc.).
• Prepare chargeback invoices, including cashback and rebate processing.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers.

About The Job

• Recording and reporting revenue-related data in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Performing revenue accounting tasks, including managing collections and analyzing delinquent accounts
• Processing customer credit applications, reviewing existing accounts, and approving new accounts
• Managing deductions and adjustments such as discounts, rebates, cashbacks, and manual revenue corrections
• Preparing chargeback invoices, including cashback and rebate processing
• Acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers

About You

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial information
• Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills are an advantage
• Fluent in English
• Positive, proactive mindset with a can-do attitude
