Job summary

ALPHA INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. is seeking an OSH Coordinator / HSE Executive in Johor Bahru to support workplace safety and regulatory compliance. You will implement safety programmes, conduct inspections, and promote a strong safety culture across the manufacturing environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in OSH roles, relevant OSH certificates, and the ability to liaise with authorities. The company emphasizes safety training and ongoing improvement in safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of professional OSH experience or HSE coordination.
• Experience in risk assessments, workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Good knowledge of OSH laws, regulations and workplace safety requirements in Malaysia.
• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work independently.
• Willing to liaise with authorities and implement safety programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain OSH policies, procedures and standards in line with Malaysian regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments and hazard identifications; recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; document findings and implement preventive measures.
• Provide health and safety training and inductions for all staff levels.
• Maintain accurate OSH records and documentation such as incident reports and training logs.
• Liaise with regulators, inspectors and external agencies for compliance.
• Promote a positive safety culture via toolbox talks and safety committees.
• Manage PPE inventory and ensure proper usage across the site.
• Advise management on resource allocation for safety initiatives.
• Coordinate with occupational health services to support wellbeing programs.
