Job summary

Mega Sedaya Construction is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor for Kuantan and Parit Perak to oversee day-to-day safety on our construction sites. You will ensure PPE usage and compliance with safety standards, acting as a bridge between workers and management.

The role requires recognised EH&S qualifications, DOSH/NIOSH/JKKP Yellow Book registration, and at least two years of construction safety experience. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification includes a professional certificate, diploma or higher in safety, health or environment.
• Must be a registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH/NIOSH/JKKP and Yellow Book holder.
• At least two years’ experience in Occupational Safety & Health in the construction industry.
• Willing to travel or relocate as required.
• Excellent communication, writing, computer literacy and ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Languages required: Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities within a construction site.
• Ensure workers use necessary protective equipment.
• Investigate accidents and address root causes.
• Address workers’ safety concerns promptly and effectively.
• Receive and act on safety reports from workers.
• Serve as a link between workers and top management on safety and organization.
• Carry out project-based Safety & Health Officer responsibilities.
