Job summary

STERIS is seeking an Order Administrator to coordinate customer order processing, production scheduling and related administrative tasks for Gamma and X-Ray processing services. Responsibilities

• Generate customer orders for Gamma and X-Ray processing; ensure timely QA release.

Job description

Position Summary

The Order Administrator is responsible for coordinating customer order processing, production scheduling, and administrative activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Gamma and X-Ray processing services.

Duties

• To Coordinate and supervises shift and routine activities, including work performance monitoring and resolving issues related to manpower or shift performances.
• To supervise the operation of Gamma processing as per schedule.
• Coordinate production workflow and optimise use of resources in production.
• Analysing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related task as needed.
• To coordinate with QA/Rad Tech on validation exercises according to SOP and Wis.
• Ensures materials received for production process or inventory as planned, properly identified and accessible to production personnel.
• Ensure Production Assistants are trained as required.
• Monitor production workers to comply with warehouse SOPs and WIs and ensure operations are orderly.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personal on the use of all control points, equipment and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Manage and supervise the daily safety behavior of team members, timely feedback and correct unsafety condition or activity.
• Responsible for the welfare of production staff, eg, the scheduling of working hours and general employee discipline.
• To perform any reasonable request in respect of the efficient running of the site.
• To generate customer order for Gamma and X-Ray process and get QA to release in timely manner to obtain the processing paperwork and to ensure and monitor all items in system is updated and to create any new item that is required.

• To assist Production Officer in customer / shopfloor liaison on routine production and scheduling matters and deputised Production officer as and when required.
• To file all customer's PO and production records (Batch Record Sheet).
• All other responsibilities that commensurate with her experience and qualification as assigned by her Manager.
• To ensure and comply to company rules and policies, Safety policies, QA procedures and SOPs.
• To involve in 5S, Lean, 8SPS and Continuous Improvement activities.

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED in Business or General Studies

Required Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in order administration, production planning, customer service, production coordination, or manufacturing administration.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, sterilization, or related industry) is an advantage.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling systems.
