Confidential Company in Malaysia is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to maintain optical and IP networks, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with global XFNs and vendors. The role emphasizes independence, accuracy, and deep technical knowledge in DWDM/CWDM, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS and BGP/OSPF.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering reliable network services with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Networking or equivalent experience.
• Experience with optical and IP networking technologies and protocols.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, plus ability to communicate clearly.
• Experience coordinating across multiple vendors and providers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor optical and IP networks using network management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve outages with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with XFNs, partners, and vendors for timely resolutions.
• Prepare root cause analysis reports for incidents and outages.
