Job summary

Carousell Group is seeking an Associate, Operations Automation to own automation, data, and AI tooling that powers Carousell Luxury’s day‑to‑day operations, including marketing data pipelines, ROI dashboards, and Shopify storefronts.

This hands‑on role writes scripts and queries, builds internal dashboards and tools, and works with production data sources and APIs, collaborating with IT, Operations, Customer Support and Finance to deliver reliable automation and measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Working proficiency in Python and SQL (Postgres).
• Experience building automations, internal tools or dashboards in a business operations context.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Experience with Shopify is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines from Meta, Google, Instagram and Shopify into shared database and run marketing spend/ROI dashboard.
• Develop and maintain live commerce and social automation: TikTok/Instagram posting.
• Create pricing tools and AI-assisted attribute detection for merchandisers.
• Develop internal tools and support Shopify storefronts (Carousell Luxury/Luxury Lexicon).
• Produce WBR/MBR/QBR reports and leadership metrics from Postgres.
• Troubleshoot order processing and provide backup coverage for automation lead.
