Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan to support daily manufacturing operations, operate equipment, set up processes, and assist with maintenance and process improvements.

You will work with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet targets, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with safety and 5S standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• SPM / SPMV, Certificate, or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality specifications.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support preventive maintenance and assist engineers in corrective maintenance activities.
• Escalate equipment, process, or quality issues to the engineering teams.
• Record production data, machine status, downtime reasons, and maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, yield, quality, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Maintain 5S in the production area.
• Support NPI, qualification runs, and engineering evaluations when required.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Education

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality requirements, and safety standards are achieved. This role performs machine operation, equipment setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance support, process monitoring, and continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, environmental, and company regulations.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the production area.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), qualification runs, and engineering evaluations when required.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve operational objectives.
