Job summary

SH Cogent Logistics is seeking a logistics coordinator to support depot operations in Selangor. You will assist in planning, inventory control, and coordinating daily transport schedules to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely deliveries.

The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and a diploma or related certificate in logistics or business administration. Responsibilities include reporting, process improvements, and maintaining customer confidence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge requirements: operational procedures, inventory management, transport scheduling, SOP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to ensure all procedures and requirements are followed.
• Ensure depot operations and staff perform to required standards.
• Maintain smooth daily operations and minimize truck turn times in the depot.
• Handle daily customer mail correspondences and reporting to the manager.
• Support productivity initiatives and report discrepancies or safety issues to the manager.
• Maintain discipline in the depot and assist with other duties as required.
• Ensure equipment availability and procedural integrity in operations.

Responsibility

• 2. Ensure that work assigned to container coordinator leads / depot assistant & operating personned are fulfilled to required standards
• 3. Ensure smooth flow of daily operations and shortest turn time for truckers in the depot.
• 4. Attend to daily mail correspondences from customers.
• 5. Discuss and reporting to manager in any enhancement for daily operation and assist the manager in implementation of productivity initiatives.
• 6. Report to manager if there are any discrepancies, non-compliance, accidents or escalation from customers.
• 7. Assist the manager in maintaining the discipline in the depot.
• 8. Assist the manager upon requested and perform other duties and assignments as required.
