Job summary

PETRONAS Downstream’s PCGB Operational Excellence internship invites a chemical engineering student to support energy performance improvements and OE initiatives across Malaysia’s manufacturing operations.

You will gain exposure to OEMS, data analytics, dashboards, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging Power BI and data management tools.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Interest in Operational Excellence and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OE performance data and identify gaps.
• Support OE initiatives, improvement programs and performance management activities.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, presentations, and data analyses for management reviews and OE meetings.
• Assist in tracking action items from audits, assessments, and improvement projects.
• Develop and update procedures and documentation for OE.
• Coordinate engagement sessions, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders.
• Support digitalization initiatives including data management, dashboard development, and process automation.
• Perform other OE and business improvement assignments as required.
