Job summary

Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad (Bintulu Downstream) is seeking an experienced Operations & Logistics professional to oversee bulkers operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with HQ, Sales, Mills, Production, Ports, Shipping Agents, and Transporters on delivery schedules and internal transfers (FIFO & JIT). The role includes 24/7 manpower planning during shipments and ensuring ISO and DOE compliance, with regular performance reporting.

Qualifications

• At least a Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or related field.
• Preferably with 2 years’ experience in bulk terminal, tank farm, palm oil or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge in shipping operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance (DOSH & DOE).

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of bulkers operations including shipment loading, tank farm, receiving & dispatch activities.
• Coordinate with HQ, Sales, Mills, Production, Ports, Shipping Agents, and Transporters on delivery schedules and internal transfers (FIFO & JIT).
• Oversee boiler operations, utilities management and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise preventive & corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
• Ensure laboratory testing accuracy and proper scheduled waste management & reporting.
• Lead, supervise and manage manpower planning for 24/7 operations during shipment period.
• Prepare operational performance reports for Management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISCC, MSPO, GGL and relevant shipping, DOSH and DOE regulations.
• To perform other task as assigned from time to time.
