Job summary

NTT DATA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an OpenShift Engineer to join our Platform Engineering & Deployment team. You will deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters across on‑prem, ROSA, ARO, and hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes automation, security, monitoring, and collaboration with App‑Dev and Security teams to modernize insurance workloads and ensure reliable platform operations.

Qualifications

Experience in deploying and managing OpenShift clusters in multi‑cloud or hybrid environments.
Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Helm and GitOps workflows.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, networking, RBAC, and storage.
Security policies, RBAC, and compliance considerations for regulated workloads.
Ability to collaborate with App‑Dev, Security, and Cloud teams.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters (on‑prem, ROSA, ARO, or hybrid).
Manage cluster lifecycle, upgrades, Operators, MachineSets, and node scaling.
Configure OpenShift networking (Ingress, Routes, Service Mesh, SDN).
Implement multi‑tenant architectures for insurance workloads.
Automate cluster provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and GitOps.
Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Build reusable automation modules for upgrades, patching, and onboarding.
