Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an entry-level accounting/finance assistant to join our Pelabuhan Klang team on site. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and will support bookkeeping, documentation, and administration tasks.

The role requires accuracy, strong English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, teamwork, and the ability to maintain financial records in line with company policy. Location: Jalan Perigi Nanas 8/9, Taman Perindustrian Pulau Indah, 42920 Pelabuhan Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Got Experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in account management, documentation management, and administration management.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage and maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work onsite at Jalan Perigi Nanas 8/9, Taman Perindustrian Pulau Indah, 42920 Pelabuhan Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and tax-related matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission to relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular bookkeeping activities, including data entry, reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including managing documentation and maintaining organized filing systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to address inquiries and provide updates on their accounts.
