Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Project Coordinator to join the Construction Management team on our data center builds. You will work on-site daily with construction managers and stakeholders to ensure fast, high-quality delivery of equipment and systems.

You will own communication with vendors, manage RFIs, change orders, and progress reports, and help maintain safety, environmental, and quality standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, or experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• Experience using computers and Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in the production of monthly project reporting deliverables including: Project Delivery plans, Weekly & monthly status reports, financial updates, schedule updates, safety incident reports and updates.
• Assist the team with document control tasks, including: Monitoring and actioning RFIs, assisting with producing and tracking change orders across projects, compiling and storing construction data from vendors, updating Project Management software with milestone dates, correspondence, and documents.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of Amazon safety, environmental and quality standards for assigned sites.
• Set up and maintain project management and document management system; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Onboarding new vendors for badging and orientation as required; monitor delivery of owner furnished material and equipment to site.
• Assist Construction Managers and Pre-construction with administrative tasks.
