Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a technician or supervisory role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and techniques.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and site management procedures.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate teams effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring work aligns with specifications and timelines.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work for quality and compliance.
• Monitor site safety protocols and enforce health and safety requirements.
• Communicate with project managers and clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Maintain daily records of activities, labour, materials, and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and site workers.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress/compliance reports.
